Meet Our Founder

Payton Calder

Payton, hailing from rural Michigan and a proud member of the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians, discovered her love for dance at an early age. Excelling academically at Michigan State University, she delved into research while also teaching microbiology. Physical activity became her stress relief, leading her to offer free Zumba classes during the pandemic. After graduation, she worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder before venturing to Los Angeles to become a certified personal trainer. Combining psychology with fitness, she founded PAC Mindful Movement, offering tailored programs rooted in evidence-based practices. Her journey exemplifies a dedication to empowering others through movement and continuous learning.
